As little data as possible

Getting in touch with me is a private matter. That's why I keep as little data as possible and you can stay largely anonymous.

What I do keep

• A first name or nickname, never your surname, address or date of birth.
• A phone number or email address, so I can reply to you. A separate number or address is fine.
• Your message and what we agree about date, time and place.

What I don't keep

• I don't write down sensitive things you tell me.
• I don't make a copy or photo of your ID. If I check your age, I only look at it, and you can cover your name.
• My records contain no names, only date, duration and amount.

What I use data for

To reply to you, to make and carry out an appointment, and to meet my bookkeeping obligations. I do this with your consent and because it's needed for our appointment.

How long I keep data

I delete messages and contact details 6 months after our last contact, also if you only asked a question. I keep my records (without names) for 7 years, because the Dutch tax authorities require it.

Who I share data with

No one. Your messages do pass through the service you use, such as WhatsApp, Telegram or your email provider, and their own terms apply. A message sent through the form reaches my mailbox via my website.

Website and cookies

This site uses no cookies and no advertising. I anonymously count how many people visit the site, without cookies and without storing your full IP address. Your connection to this site is encrypted (https).

Your rights

You can view, correct or delete your data or restrict its processing, and you can always withdraw your consent. Send a message to contact@mailrens.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
